Timothy Mills, Senior Information Architect, joined Tanagram Partners in 2003 after moving to Chicago from Washington, DC where he worked as the Manager of Information Technology for Fight Crime: Invest in Kids, a non-profit advocacy group dedicated to reducing crime through providing quality educational childcare. He has been developing web sites and other interactive media since 1994, and in 2003, one of the sites he developed was chosen as a finalist for the South by Southwest Interactive Web Awards.
Timothy believes that technology should ultimately serve people and seeks to create solutions that fade into the background. In his role at Tanagram Partners, he has worked on a variety of web site and application architectures, including consumer-focused transactional sites, a large-scale banking application, informational sites for varying sized institutions and companies, and data mining and reporting applications for Fortune 500 corporations. He also continues to be involved in Tanagram's various research efforts for DARPA.
Timothy received his BA in English (with an emphasis in Creative Writing) in 2000 from Illinois Wesleyan University, where he helped the Admissions department develop an award-winning web site.
