Tanagram founder and Creative Director, Lance Rutter, received the AIGA Above & Beyond Award at the Chicago chapter's 2007 Annual Members Meeting at the Museum of Contemporary Art. The award, given to one member per year, recognizes long-standing service and commitment to AIGA Chicago and the design community. The efforts of those recognized ensure the chapter's ability to continue to encourage, promote, and serve the graphic design profession. Lance was recognized with the award for his long-standing involvement in the organization as a national board member, Chicago chapter president, advisor, sponsor, and leader of a variety of local and national design initiatives.
